Sub.: JFI Election – 2018 and Activity of the General Secretary, JFI

Sir/Madam,

This is to inform you that the report of the Learned Returning Officer regarding the JFI Election conducted under her supervision was submitted before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.

The hearing was held before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi on 9th April 2018 and the report of the Returning Officer on the JFI Election was considered by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.

The Hon'ble Delhi High Court has passed the detailed order on the April 9th, 2018, the relevant extracts of the same are reproduced herein;

“18. In the light of the above, we accept the report dated 19thFebruary 2018 of Dr. Nivedita P. Haran, IAS (Retd.) qua the elections to all the posts except the post of General Secretary which post is kept in abeyance for the time being.”

Thus, in compliance of the Order dated 09/04/2018 passed by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, the post of the General Secretary is kept in abeyance for the time being and accordingly activities of the General Secretary, Shri. Man Mohan Jaiswal, has been withdrawn till further order/direction from the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.

The Hon’ble High Court of Delhi also given the directions to follow the recommendations given by the Returning Officer on important and valuable Short-term and Long-term for the implementation. A copy of the Order of Hon’ble High Court of Delhi dated 9th April 2018 is attached herewith.
