     SECOND JFI Training Centre Opened in Ananthapur
     

The Judo Federation of India (JFI) Opened it’s 2nd JFI Training Centre in association with Rural Development Trust (RDT), and Andhra Pradesh Judo Association.

Before opening the JFI Training Centre, JFI organized a Judo Training Camp under the JOCV ( Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer ) Mr. Kei Teshigawara ( 3rd Dan ) from 20th to 30th May 2015 at RDT, Ananthapur.

Around 80 Judo players from Ananthapur and nearby area were identified by the A.P. Judo Association for this Camp. Mr. Kei Teshigawara was very happy with the Judokas, and expressed his happiness to see the talents of Ananthapur in Judo. He also gave excellent classes on Basic of Judo and method of Judo training.

Mr. Mukesh Kumar, President, JFI opened the Centre in the presence of Shri. Moncho Ferrer, Program Director, RDT, Shri. Venkat Reddy, President & Shri. K.N. Babu, Secretary, A.P. Judo Association, Shri. Kailasam Yadav, Secretary, Telangana Judo Association, and many Judo Coaches and Judo Players on 31st May 2015, at Ananthapur Sports Academy, RDT Ananthapur.

Mr. Mukesh Kumar appreciated the efforts of Shri. Moncho Ferrer, Program Director, RDT, for setting-up this academy and extended full support of JFI for the successful running of the JFI Training Centre. He also appreciated all the Officials of A.P. Judo Association, Judo Coaches and players of Ananthapur for achieving the Centre for betterment of Judo in Andhra Pradesh.
