SELECTION CRITERIA FOR SELECTING INDIAN JUNIOR JUDO TEAM FOR THE WORLD JUNIOR JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS – 2026

The following are the Selection Criteria for the selection of Indian Judo Team for the Junior World Judo Championships – 2026:

1] The athlete must be the winner/runner up of the last Junior National Judo Championships / Selection Trials, and in addition that:

2] The athlete must be a medallist of the Asian Junior Judo Championships - 2026

3] Athlete must be medically fit for the competitions

4] Athlete must be under the weight category in which he/she won the medal in the Asian Junior Judo Championships 2026.

5] Final selection will be as per the decision of JFI Selection Committee with the approval of the Hon’ble President - JFI.
