Sub.: Nomination of Sportsperson of Outstanding Merit for inclusion in the General Body/Electoral Roll of the Elections to the Interim Executive Committee of the Judo Federation of India - 2026

Dear Members,

With reference to the JFI Emails dated 01.04.2026 & 19.05.2026, for inviting the Nominations (as per the prescribed proforma) for Sportspersons of Outstanding Merit, and the Judo Federation of India ( JFI ) has received 31 valid nominations as per the provisions of Chapter–2 r/w Schedule–I of the National Sports Governance (National Sports Bodies) Rules, 2026.

The list of the valid nomination ( 31 ) is enclosed for your information and necessary action.

As per the NSG Act and NSG Rules at least Four (4 ) members i.e. 2 male and 2 female will be the part of the General Body/Electoral Roll who will have the voting rights.

Therefore, you are requested to nominate 2 male and 2 female from the attached roster in the prescribed format.

Based on the majority of the nominations received, 2 male and 2 female   Sportsperson of Outstanding Merit shall be  included in the General Body/Electoral Roll who shall be eligible to vote in the Interim Elections of the JFI Executive Committee scheduled to be held on 8th June 2026.

The nominations must be received by the JFI through Email at jfiindia@gmail.com on or before 31st May 2026.

The nominations after 31st May 2026 shall not be entertained.
